General Terms and Conditions of STEiNE im Web

Gemstones and minerals are natural products and therefore naturally have differences in color, shape and quality. The STEiNE im Web is always trying to represent the stones and gift items in the images as accurately and faithfully as possible. The illustrations are examples.

Also the size of the stones can vary. The stones are 2-3 cm in size and have a weight of about 5-15 g/piece (depending on the type of stone); unless otherwise stated in the individual detailed descriptions or in the section "Beautiful and more".

STEiNE im Web reserves the right not to provide the promised service if a certain stone is not available.

If the order includes several goods, the delivery is always made as a single shipment.

Deliveries are made exclusively to countries of the European Union and Switzerland.

01 : Prices

All prices quoted include the statutory value added tax.
If discounts are granted, these refer to the net value of the goods.

02 : Shipping costs

Shipment will be made either as a DHL Parcel (with tracking) or as a Merchandise Mail (with tracking; for larger format, weight, value of goods from 60 EUR or correspondingly marked articles the shipment will be made in any case as a DHL Parcel).

If the value of goods exceeds EUR 20 (taking into account discounts and rebates), STEiNE im Web delivers free of shipping costs within Germany.

STEiNE im Web ships the goods on working days Monday to Friday.

Shipping costs: * The shipping weight incl. packaging is calculated automatically when the order is placed. As these are natural products, the individual item weights may vary minimally. Excess shipping costs paid due to weight differences will be refunded immediately by STEiNE im Web.

Please note our instructions in the event of a partial cancellation!
If you are entitled to a right of cancellation with regard to your order and if you exercise this right after submitting your contractual declaration with regard to a part of your order, with the result that the threshold value specified by us (value of goods of 20 EUR taking into account cash discount and rebate) would be undercut with regard to the purchase price not to be paid by you or the purchase price to be refunded by us, we reserve the right to demand from you the pro rata shipping costs for the remaining part of the order. However, this shall only apply if we have already informed you of the amount of the shipping costs for the remaining part of the order before you submitted your contractual declaration or if you were able to calculate the corresponding shipping costs without further ado on the basis of our information before you submitted your contractual declaration.

03 : Payment options

Payment can be made either by cash in advance, by direct debit (up to 100 EUR invoice amount) or by PayPal.

In case of prepayment, we grant a 3% discount on the invoice amount if payment is received within 3 days after the order date.
The money should be received within 7 days after the order, otherwise the order will be cancelled.

In the event of unpaid direct debits, we shall charge the chargeback fees borne by us, plus a processing fee (total EUR 10).

Set-offs with counterclaims are only permissible if they are undisputed or have been legally established.

By placing an order, the buyer accepts the general terms and conditions (GTC) of STEiNE im Web. Only these general terms and conditions apply. Other GTC are not permissible.

04 : Right of cancellation

Cancellation policy:
If the customer is a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, he has the right to revoke the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The revocation period is 14 days from the day on which he or a third party named by him, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

In order to exercise the right of revocation, the customer must inform STEiNE im Web (STEiNE im Web, Michael Kehrein, Hauptstraße 151, 55246 Mainz-Kostheim (Wiesbaden), Germany, Telephone: +49 (0)6134. 258947, E-mail: info@Steine-im-Web.de) of his decision to revoke the contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). The customer may use the enclosed Sample cancellation form for this purpose, which is, however, not mandatory.

In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for the customer to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of revocation:
In the event of revocation, STEiNE im Web shall repay to the customer all payments received from him by STEiNE im Web, including the delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that the customer has chosen a type of delivery other than the most favourable standard delivery offered by STEiNE im Web), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which STEiNE im Web received the notification of the revocation of the contract. For this repayment, STEiNE im Web uses the same means of payment that the customer used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the customer; in no case will the customer be charged for this repayment. STEiNE im Web may refuse repayment until it has received the goods back or until the customer has provided proof that he has returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

The customer must return or hand over the goods to STEiNE im Web without delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which the customer notifies STEiNE im Web of the revocation of the contract. The deadline is met if the customer sends the goods before the end of the fourteen-day period. The customer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

The customer shall only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.

05 : Costs of return shipment in the event of revocation

The customer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

06 : Retention of title

The goods remain the property of STEiNE im Web until full payment has been made.

07 : Right of exchange or return

In the event that an item is clearly wrong or damaged, the customer will receive a free replacement immediately. Please note: Returns must be packed exactly as they were delivered by the STEiNE im Web. It is imperative that returns are made carriage paid. The offer in the online shop of the STEiNE im Web is constantly renewed and changed, the STEiNE im Web therefore reserves the right to change prices.

STEiNE im Web reserves the right to make errors in item descriptions and prices.

08 : Data protection notice

The personal data of the buyer will be stored electronically but will not be passed on or used for marketing purposes.

09 : Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

German law shall apply to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of performance for all obligations arising from the contractual relationship is Mainz-Kostheim. The place of jurisdiction is - as far as legally permissible - Wiesbaden.

10 : Severability clause

Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the other agreements. Instead, the ineffective provision shall be replaced by an appropriate provision which comes closest to the ineffective provision in its economic effect within the scope of what is legally permissible.

We expressly point out that the effects of the stones are so far neither scientifically provable, nor medically recognized! All statements made on the website do not represent instructions for therapy or diagnosis in the medical sense.

From a scientific point of view, there is no evidence that so-called "healing stones" can prevent, alleviate or cure diseases.

The use of gemstones and minerals may in no case replace medical advice or help!
